II. Market Analysis
Futures Market

Spot Market
Supply — Overseas. Parts of Thailand’s producing regions were hit by relatively severe flooding, and processors competed to buy feedstock at higher prices, pushing up raw material costs. Producing regions in Vietnam remained overcast and rainy, with intermittent rainfall disrupting tapping progress; overall output fluctuated with the weather, and expectations of a phased supply contraction kept feedstock prices trading firmly through the week.
Supply — Domestic. Weather in Yunnan’s producing regions was favorable and volumes continued to rise; standard-rubber mills report good order books, keeping the center of gravity of feedstock prices at a high level. Conditions in Hainan’s producing regions improved and tapping resumed in stages, so new latex supply increased seasonally. Supported by orders and processing margins, local processors have continued to buy feedstock at a premium.

Demand: Available information indicates that operating rates at some enterprises are gradually recovering, but with feedstock prices remaining elevated, enthusiasm across the tire industry is still low. A few large manufacturers are maintaining normal operations to secure order delivery and routine product supply.

IV. Market Outlook
The tug-of-war between bulls and bears in the natural rubber market continues, and prices lack a clear direction. On the supply side, the contest between domestic and overseas producing regions persists: processors remain willing to purchase feedstock at high prices and raw material prices are consolidating at elevated levels, so the cost side is providing fairly strong support for rubber prices. On the pressure side, Qingdao spot inventories have built up since the holiday, lifting supply pressure at the margin, while downstream companies have limited capacity to absorb high-priced feedstock and are following up cautiously on procurement, dampening bullish sentiment to some degree. On balance, with cost support and demand restraint coexisting, the natural rubber market is likely to keep trading in wide-range consolidation in the short term.
