Glass production:In October 2024, China's glass output was 5.015 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 5.47% from 5.3053 million tons and an increase of 0.53% from 4.9885 million tons; from January to October 2024, China's glass output totaled 52.0008 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 2.24025 million tons, with a range of 4.50%.

Glass operating rate:The operating rate of the glass market in October was 80.35%, a year-on-year decrease of 3.65%, and a month-on-month decline of 2.19%. This month coincides with a market holiday during the National Day holiday. Coupled with the increase in float glass cold repair production lines, the supply side has contracted and the operating rate has continued to decline.
