On November 16, in the photovoltaic glass production workshop of Henan Ancai High-Tech Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Ancai High-Tech), the reporter saw that on the automated production line, photovoltaic glass plates were slowly moving, from intelligent cutting to automatic removal and packaging, and finally shipped to the finished product warehouse, waiting to be sent overseas.
"This batch of photovoltaic glass is stepping up production and will be shipped from the railway operation station of Anyang Logistics Park in Wanzhuang, Henan Province in Tangyin County at the end of this month and to India through Tianjin Port." Guo Xiangjin, overseas sales manager of Ancai High-Tech, told reporters.
Ancai High-Tech focuses on the research and development, manufacturing and sales of photovoltaic glass, with an annual output of 168 million square meters of photovoltaic glass. Its business basically covers large photovoltaic module companies outside China. Since it began exporting photovoltaic glass in 2011, Ancai High-Tech has continuously innovated technology, improved quality, and optimized services."Good glass, made in Henan" has gradually become the consensus of users in the overseas glass market. At present, Ancai High-Tech cooperates with the top 10 photovoltaic module companies in the world.
"In the past, our export shipments were transported by car, and our products were transported by road from Anyang to Linqing City, Shandong Province and then transferred overseas." Tian Yubei, deputy director of the Storage and Transportation Department of Ancai High-Tech, told reporters.
The vast overseas market can increase product sales, but it also means that product exports will face high transportation costs. Not along the border or the sea, what does Anyang Glass rely on to stride forward and move towards the world?
Ancai High-Tech's choice is: relying on Anyang's land-port-type national logistics hub, rail-sea intermodal transportation to smooth the international logistics channel, and start a new journey for Anyang Glass.
With the whistle of the "Anyang-Tianjin Port" rail-sea intermodal train on July 29, 2023, Ancai High-Tech's photovoltaic glass has since been transported by rail at the "doorstep". Since April this year, the "Anyang-Tianjin Port" rail-sea intermodal freight train has a total of 11 Ancai High-tech freight trains, shipping a total of 234 40-foot containers and 658 20-foot containers, sending high-quality Anyang glass overseas.
"Rail-sea combined transportation has moved the 'seaport' to the 'doorship', broadening the overseas logistics and transportation channels of Anyang Glass, and bringing tangible benefits to the company." Tian Yubei introduced that compared with the past, a standard container can now save nearly 30% of freight when sailing across the ocean and setting sail.
Transportation costs across the ocean have dropped significantly. Ancai Hi-Tech's market competitiveness, brand awareness and reputation have been further consolidated and improved in overseas markets. Anyang Glass's reputation has become louder and louder.
