Jinmao Carbon Materials 240,000 tons of carbon black project started

According to reports, on April 15, Urad Rear Banner, Inner Mongolia held an on-site meeting for the construction of key projects in 2024 and the groundbreaking ceremony of the resource comprehensive utilization project and the waste gas and waste heat utilization project of Inner Mongolia Jinmao Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. Wang Yinbao, Secretary of the Flag Committee, Yi Heng, Deputy Secretary of the Flag Committee and Chief of the Government, Siqin Gaowa, Director of the Standing Committee of the Flag People's Congress, and other flag leaders attended.
The total investment in the comprehensive utilization of resources and waste gas and waste heat utilization project of Inner Mongolia Jinmao Carbon Materials Co., Ltd. reaches 1.5 billion yuan. With energy conservation, carbon reduction and safety and environmental protection as the core concepts, it aims to build a device with an annual output of 240,000 tons of carbon black and 160 tons of carbon black tail gas boiler per hour, and cooperates with the construction of steam pipe network in the industrial park, as well as a 400,000 tons of coal tar deep processing equipment. According to the Carbon Black Industry Network, after completion of the project, it is expected to make full use of the waste heat products of carbon materials, effectively promoting the combination of traditional manufacturing and emerging characteristic industries. Chen Wenxing, general manager of Inner Mongolia Jinmao Carbon Materials Co., Ltd., said that these projects will not only bring considerable economic benefits to the company. The total annual industrial output value is expected to reach 2.5 billion yuan, profits and taxes can reach 150 million yuan, but also create 350 new jobs for society, which will undoubtedly inject new vitality into the economic development of Urad Rear Banner.
