Chaoyang County has become an important titanium sponge production base in the country

Planning and construction of new materials industry of non-ferrous metals

According to the industrial development plan of "one county, one industry" in Chaoyang City,    focuses on the planning and construction of new non-ferrous metal materials industry in Chaoyang County, relying on the industrial foundation and development reality. After years of development, the output of zirconium and titanium sponge in Chaoyang County accounts for more than 80% and 10% of China's total output respectively, and has become an important production base of titanium sponge in the country.

   at present, Chaoyang County has 12 industrial enterprises above the scale of new non-ferrous metal materials. As of November, the total industrial output value reached 1.94 billion yuan, an increase of 19.5% over the same period last year. According to the development idea of integrating resources, intensive processing and full-chain development, relying on the county's rich mineral resources and industrial foundation of vanadium, titanium, manganese, nickel, gold and molybdenum, Chaoyang County, supported by key enterprises such as Liaoning Huazirconium, Liaoning Huaxiang, Baisheng Titanium Industry and Dongzirconium New Materials, continuously optimizes the industrial structure by strengthening internal and external cooperation, joint ventures and cooperation. Make every effort to strengthen and optimize the integration, clustering and high-end of the non-ferrous metal industry chain, and strive to become a national production base of new non-ferrous metal materials by the end of the 14th five-year Plan.

Sponge zirconium accounts for 80% of China's total output.

   Chaoyang County has formed a zirconium industry chain of "zirconium oxychloride-zirconium tetrachloride-industrial sponge zirconium and nuclear sponge zirconium". They are Liaoning Hua Zirconium New Materials Co., Ltd., Liaoning Huaxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. And Chaoyang East Zirconium New Materials Co., Ltd.

   by the end of November 2023, Liaoning Hua Zirconium New material Co., Ltd. achieved an output value of 412 million yuan and a tax revenue of 41.3 million yuan. Zirconium-based new materials professional and technical innovation center project is under construction, project establishment, construction permit and other related procedures have been completed. At present, the main body of the project has been completed and is expected to be put into use in the first quarter of 2024.

   according to the statistics of China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Liaoning Hua Zirconium New Materials Co., Ltd. and Chaoyang East Zirconium New Materials Co., Ltd., in Chaoyang Liucheng Economic Development Zone, account for more than 80% of China's total production of sponge zirconium. Liucheng Economic Development Zone has become the largest production base of sponge zirconium in China. Liaoning Huaxiang New Materials Co., Ltd. has an annual output of 100000 tons of zirconium oxychloride project, which will become the largest single zirconium oxychloride production project in China.

The titanium industry in    Chaoyang County has formed a titanium industry chain of "high titanium slag-titanium tetrachloride-sponge titanium-alloy titanium ingots / high purity titanium / titanium materials / sponge titanium particles". They are Chaoyang Parkson Titanium Co., Ltd., Chaoyang Parkson Metal Co., Ltd., Liaoning Baihong Mineral Resources Co., Ltd., Liaoning Yisen Metal Technology Co., Ltd. And Chaoyang Baisheng Jinshan Titanium Industry Co., Ltd. According to the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, Chaoyang Parkson Titanium accounts for more than 10% of China's total output of sponge titanium. Chaoyang Liucheng Economic Development Zone has become an important production base of titanium sponge in the country.

   at present, the molybdenum industry in Chaoyang County has also formed a "molybdenum ore-molybdenum oxide-ferromolybdenum" industry chain, and the vanadium industry is also planned and developed according to the industrial chain of "vanadium ore-vanadium pentoxide-vanadium nitrogen alloy-vanadium deep utilization (vanadium battery)". There are four production enterprises in Chaoyang County, namely Chaoyang Boyuan Metal Industry Co., Ltd., Liaoning Huatai Metal Industry Co., Ltd., Chaoyang Jinshi New Materials Co., Ltd. And Chaoyang Xincheng Molybdenum Industry Co., Ltd.

   now, Chaoyang County, supported by new materials of non-ferrous metals and clean energy, promotes the transformation and upgrading of the industrial structure to achieve breakthrough development, while making every effort to ensure the overall social harmony and stability of the county, the continuous improvement of people's livelihood and well-being, and comprehensively win the first battle of the three-year operation.
