Birla Carbon Launches its First Asia Post Treatment Plant in India
Birla Carbon, a manufacturer and supplier of carbon-based solutions, has announced the inauguration of its first Asia Post Treatment (APT) Plant in India. The brownfield initiative is located at the Patalganga unit, Maharashtra, and will cater to the mounting demand for high-performing carbon black grades in key industries such as coatings and inks.
The company claims that the facility’s advanced technological capability provides exacting control on reaction times, facilitating the production of ultra-high-performance grades suited to specific customer needs.
